Hi! My name is Kim Stark and I am the instructor with Tucson Swim Lessons. I established Tucson Swim Lessons in 2005. I started teaching swim lessons the year before with another company and enjoyed working with the kids so much that I started my own company.
 

A little bit about me:

  • I started swimming with I was very young and joined a swim team when I was seven.
  • I continued with competitive swimming through high school.
  • In high school (1999) I competed in the Arizona State High School Competition and received 18th in state in the 500 yard freestyle, 18th in a relay, and 22nd in a relay.
  • I lifeguarded for a summer camp for 5 years where I first started teaching swim lessons.
  • I am now 25 years old and recently married my wonderful husband Ricky.
  • I am a kindergarten teacher at a charter school in Tucson.
  • I graduated from the University of Arizona in December of 2007 with my Bachelors in Elementary Education, have since completed my Early Childhood Education endorsement, and finished my Masters Degree in Education (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Grand Canyon University in May of 2010.
